Daryl Pichan has mentored business owners, presidents, partners and high potential leaders for more than 15 years. His focus includes executive coaching, family business relationships, senior-level team development, keynote presentations, leadership retreats and capacity increasing experiences.
Daryl grew up in the midst of a successful multigenerational extended family business.
He earned his master’s in organizational development and adult learning at the University of Rochester. Certified as a DISC trainer in the Personal Profile he has also pursued additional post-graduate work with University Associates and the Georgetown Family Center of Georgetown University.
Daryl believes that the leadership capacity of owners is crucial to the ongoing success of each family business. Increasing the functioning of owners and senior managers is a focal point of his work. Healthy connection vs. cutoff, conflict resolution processes, clarity of direction, understanding the emotional processes at work, and communicating with intent are some of the capacities necessary for high functioning.

Daryl’s work is heavily influenced by his research on leadership functioning and his involvement with young people in “work camps” for people of need.
Daryl and Christie have been married for 27 years and have done their best to launch two young adults – Kate and Dean.
